Ms. Johnson also accepts referrals in complex civil and appellate matters, in which you lack experience or have a conflict, and in situations where large firm representation does not make economic sense. Referral fees gladly paid in accordance with the Supreme Judicial Court’s Rules of Professional Conduct.

In addition, Ms. Johnson is available to:

• Provide consultation and research and drafting of trial and appellate briefs, trial motions asserting and preserving important evidentiary issues for appeal, and dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment and motions to dismiss;
• Draft jury instructions and post-trial motions and submissions;
• Conduct record reviews and provide consulting services and advise with respect to the identification and evaluation of appellate issues;
• Perform contract based legal research and writing; and
• Assist other lawyers and appear as trial counsel in complex civil matters in state and federal courts.

Discounted hourly rates, shared contingent fee agreements and alternative fee arrangements, including flat fees, capped fees, and modified hourly rates are available.
